About These Terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any enquiry or order you place with Sweet Scoops Candles. By using this site, you agree to the terms below.
Enquiries, Not Online Orders
This website does not process online payments and no order is confirmed by adding items to your Enquiry Bag. Submitting your Enquiry Bag or contact form via WhatsApp or email sends us a request only your order is confirmed once we’ve responded to confirm final pricing, availability and timing with you directly.
Pricing
Prices shown on this site are estimates for handmade, made-to-order items and are confirmed at the time of enquiry. We reserve the right to update prices at any time; any change will not affect an order already confirmed with you.
Handmade Products
- Every candle is hand-poured, hand-piped and hand-finished, so small variations in colour, texture and shape between candles are normal and expected.
- Product photos are a true representation of our designs, but as each candle is handmade, your item may differ slightly from the photo shown.
- Decorative wax toppers are for display only and are not edible.
Custom Orders
Custom orders (weddings, corporate gifts, events, personalised designs and bulk orders) are quoted individually based on design, quantity and timing. A deposit may be required to confirm production on larger or custom orders this will be confirmed with you directly before work begins.
Delivery & Collection
Delivery and collection are arranged directly with you once your order is confirmed. Delivery costs, where applicable, are quoted separately and are not included in the product prices shown on this site.
Payment
No payment is collected through this website. Accepted payment methods will be shared with you directly once your order is confirmed.
Cancellations
Because each candle is made to order, we’re not able to offer refunds once production has started. If there’s an issue with your order including damage in transit please contact us as soon as possible so we can help make it right.
Candle Safety
Always burn candles on a heat-safe, stable surface, away from anything flammable, and never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or pets. Decorative toppers are not intended to be burned or eaten. Sweet Scoops Candles is not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper use.
Intellectual Property
All designs, photography, and content on this website belong to Sweet Scoops Candles and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as our business grows. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
