A School Business Idea That Became Something Real
Sweet Scoops Candles started as a school business project, a way to turn a love of dessert-inspired design into a real, working brand. What began with a handful of small scoop candles has grown into a full range of whipped and scoop designs, each one still poured, piped and finished by hand.
Our mission is simple: to create fun, creative and beautifully scented candles that bring joy to people, while showing that young people can turn their ideas into real businesses. Every candle is made to make someone smile, whether it’s bought as a gift, used to decorate a room, or enjoyed as part of a celebration.
Our Philosophy
Three ideas guide every design that comes out of the workshop.
Play, Then Perfect
Every new flavour or design starts as an experiment. We test, adjust and refine each mould and colour combination until it looks and smells right.
Small Batches, Real Care
We don’t mass-produce. Candles are poured and piped in small batches, so every order gets proper time and attention.
Made to Be Felt
A candle should do more than sit on a shelf. We design each one to bring warmth, colour and a little bit of joy into the room it’s in.
What Makes a Sweet Scoops Candle
Each candle starts with Soy wax, poured into a glass tumbler and left to set before the real work begins: hand-piping whipped tops, moulding scoops, and adding tiny wax toppers: chocolate squares, candy strawberries, wafer biscuits one at a time.
We’re always improving our moulds, tools and techniques so every new batch looks a little more like the real thing, and we’re constantly testing new flavours such as mint chocolate, cookies & cream and caramel swirl for future collections.
